I used the drill press clamp idea for a past thread but I got sick of adjusting it all the time so this is what I came up with. Its just a 11sp lockjaw, slightly modified.I had to add a spacer to the pad due to a minor miscalculation and notch the mount plate to get close to the work piece sometimes.I will someday make another plate that is offset to the left of the grove to ease clamping as now it is a little close to the saw when lining up my cut.Note to self.......The jacket in the avatar pic is Not for welding....EVER
Reply:That's a great idea. These things are where the HF cheapo vice grips are nice. Cut 'em and make clamps. I've got the wet table on a drill press and made a couple similar for use with slot nuts.
