Experiences with Tig modules

I wanted to start this thread to see what the views were of tig modules as opposed to specialized tig welders.  I learned to tig using an old ac/dc welder with a high freq unit (similar to what I currently use, low tech).   I have never made the switch to squarewave and really dont have a lot of experience with the newer welders with ac tig capabilities.  I see all those buttons and knobs and think I might be missing out.  I guess I am most interested in units capable of a max output of 150 to 300 amp range, but would like to hear about experiences with smaller output units also (high quality, low amperage).What are the deals to be had?  What are the deals to avoid?  When are the complete welders the better deal and when do the modules make more sense?  Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
