Does anyone know the range of current for each gas cup size.. like a number 8 cup (half inch) should be switched to a 9 when the amperage is passed how many amps.. and how low should the amperage be before you switch it to a 7? If you get what i'm saying then could you please make a list of the amp range for each cup size.. it would be greatly appreciated.. thank you!

Reply:I don't worry about amps for cup sizes unless it's alloy at hot amps, for carbon and s/s it has no effect (under 170 amps). The cup sizes are more for different preferences (and at times weather conditions). If that makes sense.Stephen
