lincoln 140 mig welder using .035 flux core wire im new to welding i have never welded on a car i think all i need to do is disconnect the the pos and neg battery terminals and keep the ground clap as close to ware im making the weld as possible. is that all i need to do??

Reply:Be sure to clean the ground and the weld area.
