Reply:guy,  I would think the varathane would work...I reckon if its going on skin only thing Id worry is skin allergens...bt then you never know I guess  can never be too prepared  I myself got a nasty rash from my belt buckle,  first it was a nice stainless wrist watch now my belt buckle...im failing apart!CHRIS
Reply:Ahh, bracelet.  My boss wears an un-coated copper bracelet, and has had no problem with corrosion.  Just don't wear it in the shower, pool, lake, etc, and dry it off if you do.Owner of Welding Wiki,The free wiki based resource for weldor's around the world.http://www.weldingwiki.comWe have cookies!
Reply:it's still shiny???.. i find that very hard to believe
Reply:Got one myself, don't take it of. Half the fun of it is seeing what colour it is right now, because it changes all through the day, but generally it stays shiny.

Reply:Copper forms a protective coating.  Powder coat clear is an option
