I had some guy come in and ask if I could make a licence plate bracket and showed me the on that he had on there. The last guy made it out sheet metal when he saw this one he wanted me to make 15 more one for each trailer and by the way its not that i dont trust you but its not my plate. Attached Images
Reply:Nice simple but rugged design. The registration plate mounts with two bolts, but how does this assembly attach to the trailer? Are you welding the feet to the trailer?I might be concerned it would vibrate and crack at the weld in the legs. Is there room for a gusset in the 90° joint?-MondoMember, AWSLincoln ProMIG 140Lincoln AC TombstoneCraftsman Lathe 12 x 24 c1935Atlas MFC Horizontal MillCraftsman Commercial Lathe 12 x 36 c1970- - - I'll just keep on keepin' on.
Reply:Yeah, that looks a bit stronger than a sheet metal bracket! Nice, and rugged.
