Takes some effort toe get all parts together and to get it working allright with the parts I got for 'reasonable' prices. The two black cylinders are for my next project.Something with about 50Tonnes capacity. Not quite sure what yet. Maybe some press.
Reply:Thats a great looking table. I am planning on building one very soon. Before winter for sure. The only thing I plan to add is that I want the table on casters so I can move the table around with or without a bike on it. I am hopeing to start building custom tanks and tins so I want to be able to lift the bike up to a comfortable hieght. I may come back to this post for referrence. Reply:Nice job on the lifting table. What does the front over centre support hold up? I mean I was expecting it to support the ends of the axle but it looks lower than that, does the rod go right through?I've got the earlier Hazet Assistant tool trolley, the one that collapses down."One of the things we have to be thankful for is that we don't get as much government as we pay for." Reply:You mean the red front stand? It's got pins/bolts which stick into the underside of the front fork. The Hazet tool trolley is ok, but I'd like to get one with more and lower drawers for all the tools I got and get. There are tempting deals on complete tool trolleys with quality tools including stuffing between tools but I allways get pulled back by the idea that there's a big investment in my old trolley which I will never get back.
Reply:Looks nice good and sturdy. What is actuating the cylinders?Tim Beeker.
Reply:Some overkill...4kW3phase hydraulic generator (free) with CETOP 3 proportional Vickers valve.ABB ACS800 8kW Frequency converter ( 200,-) which serves other purposes as well.
Reply:Diffentialy(sp) overkill but oh so cool, that powerpack would be great for a bender, press, iron worker, inhouse wood splitter, car hoist...............Tired now.Tim Beeker. |
