I have a new to me Miller syncrowave 250, I'm looking for ideas on how any of you guys have made up cable hooks, holders for the pedal, etc. I have made up down and dirty hooks to get the machine usable, but am looking for the next step, something neat and maybe a bit obsesive, .... Thnaks in advance for any ideas.Just my opinion, not from a book, just from the road.Howes Welding Inc.www.howesweldinginc.com
Reply:Do you have any pics of yours?I built a " cage " around mine with cable hooks. I'll see if I can post em later. weld it like you own it

Reply:There are three 1" angle shelves hidding in the clutter. They're mounted on 3/8" threaded rod. I used stock Miller holes. Notice the two outlet boxes in the lower left of the first pic. One box is fed by a wall outlet, the other by the Syncro Aux supply. Since I sit right next to the welder most of the time, they're pretty handy. Again, mounted without drilling any new holes. Reply:Ya, Craig in Denver, that's what I'm talking about, it's simpler than I had planed at first, and allows for large loops of cable, (nice use of wire spool "junk") I like the shelf idea, but will probably use some soda cases or bread trays as removable "drawers' I really like using the factory bolts/ holes, I am a BIT anna1 about that kind of stuff. Thanks for the ideas! What did you do regarding the tig/stick cable?. The older Hobart I had had separate feeds for the two functions. If I put both tig and stick welding feeds on at the same, one will be hot when I'm using the other.Just my opinion, not from a book, just from the road.Howes Welding Inc.www.howesweldinginc.com
