the posts are for a driveway gate, should be installed next week, they are 10' overall with 3' in the ground 6/6" 3/8 tube as a core with 1/4" plate to form the shape. and heavy....around 550lb each.... fun to get off the table.... for the salon we did the scroll work on the wall and the scissors the scroll work is all made in house out of 1/4"/1" steel with gilders past for the highlights the scissors are 3/4" plate that we had plasma cut and ground to shape (edges rounded and angles cut in ) over all a fun little project Attached ImagesHeat it and Beat it!!!http:www.Fallinghammerproductions.com

Reply:Signifigance is that scissors cut hair.OP said it was for a Salon. I know what you Aussies are like though..... You read the word "Salon" and your natural attraction to partying, drinking, and having a good time distorted the word so you saw what you wanted to see.. "Saloon" I love those gate posts. They would be great for the idiots that keep knocking mine down in front of the shop.

Reply:we used a product called permalac it is rated 10 years exteror in salt spray. the only isue I had with it was due to the humidity the day I coated it (a bit of clounding), even so it seems to be protecting the finish well.MPLast edited by mpmetal; 08-02-2008 at 02:06 PM.Reason: re read then post!Heat it and Beat it!!!http:www.Fallinghammerproductions.com
