Hey everyone, I finally got my tig setup ready. Minus a foot control, I noticed something kind of weird. My beads sometimes get like a brown spot in the weld. It almost looks like brown glass or something, I took pics so I will try to post them. Metal is CLEAN, 15 cfh argon, 1/8 2% tungsten, I'm sure I'm not contaminating it either. Oh yeah just mild steel too. Other than that I'm pretty happy with the beads ya'll can be the judge though. Thanks.Miller blue star 2eLincoln 175

Reply:Yeah I ground it.........but maybe not perfect. Thanks Zap. Dude you are like the messiah of welding, so much knowledge, but still so down to earth.Miller blue star 2eLincoln 175 |
