My son built this for me. We had an old scisors type transmission jack that I had retired a long time ago. It had 4 nice casters and a pretty solid frame, so I asked my son to build it.Material was scrap, He tig welded it all. He cut and fit it too. We filled some big...Huge gaps with S=6 filler. He is in 1st year of vocational school taking welding. His instructor asked him to make smaller beads so that is what he was working on.UP! Flat and look at the gap on the right....I am still working on getting him to get rid of the mill scale.25' #1/0 Ground, 35' Stinger. I sprayed the red on.DavidLast edited by David R; 10-27-2008 at 07:10 PM.Real world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
