We have to modify some older cones used at the local steel mill for one of their molds.  So I came up with a guide for the plasma to trim off some length of the bottom part of the cone. It worked pretty slick and I managed to trim and grind both of them down in about 1/2 hour. The other pictures are those of the rolled pieces that were never bumped before they were tacked together.  That left 4" of flat spots on each nozzle.  So I abused our little break a little by sliding everything off the side a little and breaking the flat spots.  I had to flip the big nozzles around to catch both ends.  I wasn't worried about breaking the bottom die since it was such a light bend with only 10ga plate.I'll post the finished product tomorrow.-Mike Attached ImagesCommon sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.
