Reply:good ole galvanized metal. always fun to weld. looks like a single bay car wash? jobs in town like that are always good for free advertising.
Reply:Will there be machinery suspended from the clear span, or is the local building code picky about clear spans. Galv. because of moisture from car wash?Another story above it?"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:Lentil clips hanging down now, i did them today i,ll get some pics of them and post them later.galv yes, lots of moisture i recomended that to the building owner.
Reply:Looks good so far!!
Reply:Few more as the job moves forward, also had to add to the lentils thanks to the engineers mistake had only 7-1/2"to hold 11-1/2"concrete arch not gonna work but i fixed it, just have to paint bare steel that didn,t get galvanized. Carpenters came also as you can see. Attached Images
Reply:Ahhh "lintel" !!I couldn't figure out why you were using lentils (a small seed, from a plant in the pea family, there's this diner I go to sometimes that usually has this pretty good lentil soup ... ) as part of a building. Don't forget that you left your magnetic 4-ft level on the angled column. That arched lintel looks nice. The best laid schemes ... Gang oft agley ...
Reply:Looks like some good work there weld it like you own it
Reply:I notice you signed your work too, Billy ....... Been known to do that once or twice myself
