sa-200 short hood

Could someone with a short measure the frame length. I am going to to take a look at a short hood in the morning and I want to make sure its going to fit in the bed of the truck just in case I decide to get it. Reason I say that I have a 55gal drum full of diesel up by the cab and I cant unload it tonight cause of the weather right now. Plus I have a stupid roll bar in the bed that previous owner put in. Reply:well I picked up this welder today for 600 bucks. Now comes the problem it is not getting spark. Owner put a9 new mag in it cause previous one was shot. The new one that they put in is a Wico model X. The motor turns over and has great compression. The motor is the F-162. So if anyone has a diagram or some ideas on timing and wait the points gap should be would be great.

Reply:well I did some rearsch last night. I took the magneto cover off and looked at it a while and I found this. (pics below) so if someone could help me find a replacement part of if there is a way to rig this or not. I have never worked with magnetos before so this is a little bit of a learning curve for me. Its a wico model x mag. oh the reason I think this is bad is on the tip to me there seems like there should be a piece of copper or something right? Attached Images

Reply:Thank you again CEP. I just remembered my welder supply company in town has a equipment repair department going to check and make sure they dont have the part before I order offline. You have been a lot of help CEP.
