Reply:That's about as ideal a shop as you can have in a space that size.  Very nice!
Reply:It that a super dupper dust extraction system. Or does it send requests for coffee to the kitchen
Reply:I love the bike lift, and the dust collection rocks too.
Reply:You have covered all the bases

Reply:FarmerSamm,Now, You just going to have to peel out that bankroll out of your bib on your overalls and shave a few Bens off of it to get you some steel over your head.  I bet you are so tight that old abe screams when you hold a penny.Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT

Reply:Now THAT'S a milling machine! (Or is it a stationary lathe)Roy BDartmouth, Mahttp://www.rvbprecision.comMM 185 MIGDiversion 165Purox W200 O/AGrizzly 9957 MillGrizzly 4030 Metal Band SawGrizzly 1050 Knife Belt SanderJet 1236 Metal LatheCM 14" Metal Band SawTP Blast Cabinet
Reply:It's a stationary lathe. They can also mill up to 8x1,5x1,25m and soon a plate roller will be available for 140mm steel (Grade 52.3). It's breman-machinery.nl. There's lots of other big machines.Nice bikes and bikelift by the way. Do you also visit TLZone.net? it's for TL and SV enthousiasts. What brand and type lathe is that in the cave?Last edited by ElGuapo; 12-03-2008 at 01:04 AM.
Reply:That is exaclty what I wanted to do with my work bench! Recess it in the floor! Thanks for the close ups!Millermatic 210
Reply:The lathe is a 1985 Jet 12X36....Modified with a DC Motor, DRO, Tinkham Bearings and an outboard "spider" for gunsmithing. It a perfect lathe for gunsmithing as the head stock isn't too long and a 24" barrel can be supported through the headstock and supported at both ends...........More here:http://public.fotki.com/Rbertalotto/machine_tool/Roy BDartmouth, Mahttp://www.rvbprecision.comMM 185 MIGDiversion 165Purox W200 O/AGrizzly 9957 MillGrizzly 4030 Metal Band SawGrizzly 1050 Knife Belt SanderJet 1236 Metal LatheCM 14" Metal Band SawTP Blast CabinetRoy,I'm wondering if you would shoot and post a couple photos of the cycle lift table's hydraulic action/leverage that provides the lift.  I've been trying to figure it out, but the previous photos are just too far away to see the "works".  Thanks.
Reply:Sure will...........Do you need to see the hydraulic conversion or the actual mechanism that does the lifting? This is about as good as you are going to get for the lift mechanism. As you can see, the hydraulic cylinder pushes against the bottom end of the nmechanism and forces the arms to lift the table; But I can take some more detailed shots later.Roy BDartmouth, Mahttp://www.rvbprecision.comMM 185 MIGDiversion 165Purox W200 O/AGrizzly 9957 MillGrizzly 4030 Metal Band SawGrizzly 1050 Knife Belt SanderJet 1236 Metal LatheCM 14" Metal Band SawTP Blast Cabinet

Reply:How can you find your tools? They are in drawers!
Reply:Nice man cave, you could live in there. I like your ingenuity when you welded up a lift on your truck to remove the slabs.
Reply:Thanks! That hitch mounted "crane" has come in real handy. I made an extended boom and I've used it to lift all kinds of things. It really works great!Roy BDartmouth, Mahttp://www.rvbprecision.comMM 185 MIGDiversion 165Purox W200 O/AGrizzly 9957 MillGrizzly 4030 Metal Band SawGrizzly 1050 Knife Belt SanderJet 1236 Metal LatheCM 14" Metal Band SawTP Blast Cabinet
