Reply:NICE!!!!Doing exhaust myself for my car but I can't justify spending 3-4x as much for stainless. Then again I might be shopping at the wrong place for it. Is there a good source for stainless tubing and mandrel bends at a reasonable price? I think it was $25 for an aluminized bend and $75 or something ridiculous for the same thing from jegs and summit.Miller Syncrowave 180SDMillermatic 175

Reply:One of those pictures shows rear purge I think they call it. Is that correct? What gas are you using. What settings are you using? What filler wire? What tungsten?ThanksRoy BDartmouth, Mahttp://www.rvbprecision.comMM 185 MIGDiversion 165Purox W200 O/AGrizzly 9957 MillGrizzly 4030 Metal Band SawGrizzly 1050 Knife Belt SanderJet 1236 Metal LatheCM 14" Metal Band SawTP Blast Cabinet
Reply:Back purging, yes. I use argon for that. I bought a seperate small cylinder and regulator.Dynasty 350 set at 41 amps, using a .040" Ceriated tungsten, with .045" 309L filler wire.Should have had the argon flow a little higher inside as the colour isn't what I usually like to see. It's not sugarred, but it's a little grey.

Reply:beautiful.. that should let the engine breath-- its always amazing to see how the factories can almost tie a knot in an exhaust pipe(first pic)

Reply:Nice. Is the expense of back purging really needed for an exhaust system? Not knocking it - just asking.
Reply:Do I see a potential makings of a crack in frame # 8 ??There is a line running cross-wise through the weld bead.
