Reply:In fact Zap i work at a community college,gov job  one of our departments is aviation and i guess a small part of the airframe license concerns welding so i have access to what looks like a pretty good tig machine.A miller shopmaster 300 with a water-cooler?pump? on the side,and a foot pedal, running on 3 phase 480 volts with all the bells and whistles.the welding instructor and i cant seem to get our schedules to jive, so I'm thinking one of these days if i can break away from scraping gum off the bottoms of the students desk and snaking lord knows what out of the toilets.that i should go over there and turn all the switches on and see what it does

Reply:Dude, that looks very good.  Some very nice oxy-fuel welding.  You would be a natural with TIG welding if you don't do it already.
