Reply:no prob but remember exhaust pipe and mufflers have an oil film so just get a rag and wipe it down before welding dont really need to but its good to i use to weld exhaust for about 4 yearsLincoln Power Arc 4000 Thermal Arc Fabricator 252 iThermal arc 186Thermal Arc 26 tigTweeko 200 amp spool gunHobart AirForce 400WP-17V-12R
Reply:good to know... do you use an ers70 wire? or a flux core? what about tig?
Reply:ers 70 .030 0r .035 if it is flux core i use to use a e71t11 .030 cause flux core burns hotter that solid wire you can tig but it unless you are doing a project that needs perfection i think it is a waste of timeLincoln Power Arc 4000 Thermal Arc Fabricator 252 iThermal arc 186Thermal Arc 26 tigTweeko 200 amp spool gunHobart AirForce 400WP-17V-12R
Reply:MIG and flux core good, tig- ugly. I flapwheel al off and use solvent wipe to get nice tig welds.PeterEquipment:2 old paws2 eyes (that don't look so good)1 bad back
