We made the union journal this month page 10+11 Local 17 completes over 3 miles of tig welding.Hats off to the 12 welders and crew i spent my summer/fall with this year they deserve it.Go to smwia.org on home page click on the journal it will download for you.If some can link it here thanks i don,t know how.REAL WORLD/REAL DEAL WELDING.

Reply:I gotta agree, I have made our trade journal, National Culinary Review several times, the first time I was quoted I went nuts tring to find an extra copy for my mom. In 1997 I was the "chef of the year" for my area Richmond, Williamsburg & Petersburg, my wife had to ground me a little. Reply:Nice work man, did they consider using MIG or SMAW? Were there certain reasons it had to be tigged?Nice tux Bruce, but did you wear the kilt?
Reply:They tried pulse migging with a 350p miller but i tell ya i was not the least bit impressed by that machine or process.The engineers and roofing manufacture specd. tig welding all seams as it was water tight critical also longevity warranty reasons.
