Awning Designs Anybody?

My wife owns a dog grooming business and gave me the task of using my new welder to make her one of those half round awnings to go over the front door.  Kinda like the ones fancy hotels have.  Anyway, anybody have any ideas on how to go about making one of those?  Anybody have any pictures of just the framing for one?Thanks
Reply:Get you some rebar 3/8" and go to town. Make it as long as you want it then as wide as you want it and then arch the first one, when you get what you want make a second one and put one in the front and the other in the back and stretch string from one to the other at 10 oclock 11 oclock 12 oclock 1 oclock and 2 oclock and start placing the rest of the rebar where ever you want them. Reply:i like the look of corrugatedthis is one i didwould be cool to do a single arch (not a wave like i did) with maybe a mix of plexi and stainless.how far out do you need to come? or how wide is the sidewalk (if i'm think of the right type of awning)
