Reply:For one of my pressure tickets which is a 6G 2" sch 160 with open butt root i run my 6010 at 83ish amps, and my 3/32" 7018 hotpass/fill/cap all at 93 amps. Its all what your used too but learning to run hotter will eliminate any lack of fusion/ cold lap/ porosity and you will also get a more asthetically pleasing weld.
