Apologies to the ornamental rail guys.  I make the ugliest caps on the planet.Started back to work on the latest fiasco today.  Nice warm day, but too windy to make decent welds, so decided to take care of the 8 caps I need.  I hate capping tubing, and it hates me Attached Images"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Reply:Thanks for taking the time to post pictures and the advice.  I could probably handle that with MIG, but the real test is running 6013...My stick skills are getting better but I need some serious pratcice running vertical.  Lincoln 175HD MIGCraftsman 230/180 AC/DC stick.  (circa 1990's)
