Thanks to all those who helped with the thought process on these doors. Hope the picture attachment worked. I am addicted to this site! They owner wanted to be able to take the doors off when needed. So, they are removable! Still need to insert glass and finish. Reply:Looks good..I'd wipe it down with some acetone..Prime..Paint with hi temp wroght iron black... ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Clean it, metal etch, and patina them. Search for metal finishes online, I am not sure of which books there are available. There are lots of finishes like gunbluing that have different coloration, look timeless, and are heat resistant.
