How do you tell the difference between cast steel/iron? I think I remember a guy telling me about the color of the sparks off a grinder but that was a while ago. Thanks

Reply:Use a 1/8" drill somewhere on your piece where it don't matter and see what the chips do..If they stay kinda stringy then it's steel..All powder then it's Iron.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
