I am looking to attend Hobart Institute of Welding and have a question on which program I should go with.Should I do the Structural Welding or the Combination Structural and Pipe Welding program. The pipe welding adds another 15 weeks to the program, but I cannot help but think that I will be glad I did it as well... Thoughts?
Reply:Do you know what the job market will be 1,2,5 or10 years down the road? Neither do I. In my opinion the best way to prepare for the future is to arm yourself with as many skills as you can.Tough as nails and damn near as smart
Reply:Thanks for the attempted forecast, but really what I was looking for was if anyone thought the structural program fell a little short without the pipe add on.
Reply:If you got the time and money take the pipe welding also, it will help you in the long run and I here that they are trying to get the right of way to build a pipe line from Canada to The Gulf to pump oil to be refined.www.georgesplasmacuttershop.comPlasma Cutter and Welder Sales and Repairs--Ebay storeTec.Mo. Reply:Thanks for the tip. That was what I was thinking... I did not want to fall short after school. |
