Here are some projects that I've done in the past day or so... The first one is a much needed upgrade on the ground.  Second is a Flail balance job. Third is drilling a hole in a manhole cover with an ordinary hole saw. Forth and fifth are pretty self explanatory. Attached ImagesCommon sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.

Reply:It was really easy to drill... And it worked better with air rather than oil.  It kept gumming up.  The lid is cast.  I had to braze a 1.5" weld-on bung so they could mount a gas filter so the neighbors wouldnt be so offended by my log floating by. I think that town needs to rework their sewage system a little.Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.

Reply:is that an optical balancing setup?    if so I always wanted to buy a used on car optical tire balancing setup but never found one.   But I did find a tire shop that has one and the brains to use it.  MY F-350 glides like a Mercedes at 70 mph on a smooth road now.  those are sweet setups.Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.
Reply:That guy was hired for another company.. They balance everything you can imagine from 400hp blowers to the generators at bonneville dam.  He cost us 400 bucks to do that hour job because of the 4 hour minimum.  So I'm trying to line up a few people at once so we can get a better deal.  I dont know all the details of the machine he's using, but I know he has sensors that pickup the vibration that are tied in with the light and goes off of that.Here are some more jobs.. The simple handrail that I drilled a slug in, mounts to the post with a cap that is held in by the pressure of the bent pieces of flatbar will be installed monday, so I'll have some better pictures of it onsite with fresh powdercoat.  The other project was CNC plasma'd and I cleaned it up with a 4" flapper then went over it with a 3M on a tire.. makes a nice brushed finish on ss and aluminum.  Then I broke them in my small break press. Reply:And here's a 22 gallon tank that I cut all the junk off of to make a bbq.  The trick on hinges, that I have found, is to cut where only the hinge goes, weld them on and then finish cutting..
