Small ATV trailer for my 3yr old son

My son loves helping me with the trailers so he started hooking things to the back of his electric atv to use as a trailer. Well I just had to give him one of his own to hook up. It's all made from goodies I have found so none of the material cost me anything. The frame was a headboard someone thru out I just cut it down, the wheels off a stroller someone thrown out and the boards I had left over from building a shed.Now he loads it up and pulls it down the sidewalk, people driving by always do a double take and laugh because he'll hook it to his atv and load his tricycle on the trailer. Reply:Good on you. When I was still riding a tricycle, my Dad made me something like that. He found a wagon without the front wheel assembly and bolted a 2 x 4 under it, as a tongue. Reply:Cute.Let him help paint it.  A three year old could probably handle some of that.  Outside of course!Needs some tie-down loops/points.  Don't want the load to shift or fall off.  Could just be some sawed out ovals in the boards.  The best laid schemes ... Gang oft agley ...
Reply:Yeah that's a neat little trailer. You should paint it green to match the ATV...and maybe shoot some black textured paint or truck bed coating in the bed...that would really turn some heads.
