Reply:Dualie,I got everything hooked up and I tried it out to see how it worked. I ran a pulsed bead, a pulse on pulse bead and no pulse. I had a thick piece of scrap so the pulse on pulse was really cold and the pulsed was slightly better. The plain old wire feed no pulse was nice! I had tried aluminum a LONG time ago with a MIG gun, not a push/pull and was completely disappointed. So this was slicker than goose poo!But I have not actually run the machine yet to really use it. I have some other things in the fire right now. Since I got it all set up for aluminum, I just left it that way. Been using the LN-25 for the welding I have had lately. I bought it brand new in 1997 and it still runs just as good as it did back then. As soon as I get something done with it I will post up some pics. Yeah, right. Reply:I was dissapointed when I went onto the lincoln site and they took them down because they ran out!  To make matters worse, I went onto a different site where I got my "Miller Killer" decals from and they didn't have those on their site anymore!  I mean, come on, I have a new helmet that needs one!  I actually don't have anything against millers though, most of the shops around here use millers.  Myself, I own a 110v Lincoln mig welder and a Ranger 305G!  I've welded with so many different machines that it get's to a point where you mess around with the settings enough, they all run the same when you compare brands!  Last edited by mb_welder; 04-17-2009 at 02:42 AM.

Reply:Miller Vs. Lincoln.  Hmmmm......I think I will go with the one that is MADE COMPLETELY IN THE U.S.A. and not partially in RED China.  I think Ol' BLUE can kick the REDS A$$ any day because WE make things that last and value that over making things cheaper to replace when they fail or go bad. But Lincoln does make some good rods (don't know if those are made in the U.S.A.)
