Reply:Looks to me like he is clamping to the welding area to ensure that it remains straight and in line, and when dressed will look just like one peice box section. Reply:Johnny,Turn up the heat and slightly increase your travel speed; looks like the bead is too high and the toes of the weld could be tied in better to the base material. Reply:Is it parallax from the phone/camera lens or are the legs at this end in this last pic turning in at the bottom?#1. If you don't like what I wrote, or if it offends you, then don't read it!#2. I am living life the way I see fit, if you don't like the way I'M living, tough sh**!

Reply:Why not consider putting your braces higher,so that they form the support for a shelf under the bench. Would be handy for tools and angle grinders etc while working to keep the work area clear. Also with-out a bottom brace you can more easily store mobile gear underneath. Reply:Ahh!I think what I am seeing is actually whats called fisheye effect! If I where doing this, I would go with what Gordon suggested, a good shelf under a bench is a must for me, if I didn't have at least one, the top of the table would become way too cluttered to get any work done!#1.
