older econotwin circa 1984

Hello, I have a question about an older econotwin.  I don't know if it is the hf model or not, it was just brought up in conversation that he had one for sale. I want one to work with aluminum, however I don't know if it is capable of doing such work.  I am hoping to get more info in the next couple of days, but if anyone knows if there is a HF box to adapt on to this to do al, or if the machine was originally set up to do al.  I believe it does have the ground, stinger and tig torch with it.  I asked if it was a hf, he told me that it didn't say it on the front cover, but he wasn't sure either.  Thanks for the help!!!
