Sorry folk been offsite for a while ,old age doesnt come on its own.latest thing off the bench ,photos to follow . Have any of you folk t.i.g welded silver ,a silversmith came to me with the problem originaly just to tack the pieces together ,but when he tried to solder it there was to much distortion.Anyways it welds realy well using pure argon ,thoriated tngsten,and we just cut slivers of silver as filler wire the fillers about 2 foot long cost about £,15 each about $30 u.s . missed you all ,glad to be back fighting fit .
