Some years ago, the old hopper was falling apart from old age: rust and fatigue cracks. . Not having sheet-metal working equipment, I Plasma cut four sides, bent the corners over a heavy steel plate, bent small offsets near the base the same way, and plug or spot welded the sides together with my MM200. The top rail was salvaged from the old hopper and attached to the new. Here is the result after being in service a few years: Attached Images
