Material- 1" thick 1018 crs.Miller invision 456-p  .045 Lincoln Ultracore 71A75 gas shielded cored wirestargon- 35cfh20 volts250 ipm Slag removed with needle scaler and then wire brushed with a die grinder after each pass. No grinding between passes. Attached ImagesDarwinian evolution used to fix stupid. Now that humans have mostly removed themselves from the process of natural selection the survival rate of idiots has skyrocketed.
Reply:I would suggest more voltage and wfs. Also tighten up the ripples by avoiding any drastic weaving techniques. You can see deep valleys between the ripples that could cause some problems in with fusion as you go over them. That wire runs great with little to no manipulation. Reply:I agree with gaustin on your technique.  You need to slow down your upward progression to tighten up the bead.  Basically just don't move up as much at a time.I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
