there was a girl at home depot that new what she was talking about she said add this penetrol to the rust-oleum oil baseprimer and paint and you can roll brush or spay iti added 5% and it work great Attached Images
Reply:I've never used that with rustoleum to thin, usually just Terpentine or Naptha thats been recomended by the paint store.I have used Floods latex additive and swear by it. I add it to almost all latex paints I use. It makes crappy Depo paint at least useable. I'll have to give that a try next time I have to spray rustoleum.
Reply:On a previous thread, someone recommended thinning Rustoleum with 10% Acetone to spray it. I have tried it numerous times and the results are fantastic. The gloss black lays down like glass. I will try this also, it looks like it worked great. Thanks for the info.
Reply:What size tip did the gun have and how much air pressure.  Or was it airless?
