Extra port on Regulator?

There is an extra port on my regulator that is marked LP. I'm assuming low pressure?Can I just put a fitting in there and a shut off valve and use that for back purging when I need to? Reply:Yes, that means low pressure. Look for Tygon tubing. It's a clear, flexible tubing. Paraflex will also work.
