Lincolns' "Plain Label" Portable Gas Welder..WTF??

Anyone ever heard of these? I have a link to the EBAY seller that has these. He states that everything is exactly the same as the 10,000 unit except the case which is grey. Is it exactly the same? Reply:After looking a bit closer, I found that it is not the same as the Ranger 305, which goes for around $3,700.00 ... like I originally thought. It's a copy of a cheaper model which is about 100 dollars difference. No deal!
Reply:Basically it's last years model. Several months ago the generator rating got upped to 10500/9500 watts and horsepower went to 22 hp for the ranger 10,000+ model.
