Are you'ns getting tired of my projects yet? Too f-ing bad.Here's today's little job. A window guard for some home owners who want to be able to leave their 1st floor bedroom window open.Design sketchFinished guard, ready for paint.Close up of of forged insert. Got it from King for way less than it would cost me to build from scratch. This is the back, this side will face out so the home owners see just the band that goes over the square bar. Reply:They are legal, but there's provisions, as you said, regarding egress. If you plan to use them on every window you have to get with the appropriate fire marshall and they'll tell you how many and which ones need to have a quick release from inside. Were I live is still one of those areas where most of us don't even lock our doors.My dogs would probably help you load my stuff up any way.I don't even own a handgun, yet. But I've been wanting a 1911 since before I got my drivers license.
