Does anyone know the test for gtaw? i need to know material size and length and maybe gap cause i nknow its a one pas full pen weld. unless its a procedure of course but any help would be appreciated6G zirconium 702 GTAW 2" xxheavy6G P.E.D. carbon steel GTAW 2" xxheavy3G titanium Gr. 2 - Gr. 7 GTAW up to 3/4" 3G 316L stainless GTAW up to 1" 3G carbon steel GTAW up to 1" 3G Hastalloy GTAW up to 3/4"1G tantalum GTAW up to .060"
Reply:You'll have to be more specific, I have no idea what "test" you're talking about. Are you asking about welder certification for a TIG welding process? What code would you be working to? There will be many different certs depending on the material, thickness, welding position, etc.
