Im welding 3/16th and maybe 1/4" steel brackets to quarter inch tubing. Im using a 220V 180amp Forney C5 arc welder. AC. What size electrode and amps do you recomend?
Reply:quarter inch tubing means wall thickness? either 3/32 6011 , start at 65 amps, or 3/32 7018ac, try 85 amps..
