Reply:Only thing I can think of is an old gear reduction with a 4-jaw chuck mounted to it, and an arm to hold the torch, or if you could find a used rotary table. No easy way around it that won't cost some money.Dont pay any attention to meIm just a hobbyist!CarlDynasty 300V350-Pro w/pulseSG Spool gun1937 IdealArc-300PowerArc 200ST3 SA-200sVantage 400

Reply:Lathe is the easiest. A guy i know has a contract with East Bay Mud for doing their test coupons. he sends them 200 at a time 6" pipes 7" long with bevels on one end with their root and land specs. he does them all on a lathe.Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches. |
