Recenty bought this welder from a guy. Tested welder in his shop and welded both process ok.Tested in a noise fabrication shop.Went to use it the other day and everything works fine, but there is this buzzing/whinning noise thatis proportional to the current setting. If I turn up the current(amps) this sound gets a little louder. I turn down the dial the sound decreases. I unplugg it and it takes awhile for the sound to "drain out "and stop. Not a loud noise, but a guy can hear it in a quiet garage with nothing else running. I remember renting one of these maxstar 200 's  for a job out of town a few years back and if I remember right it made a similar sound (I think it  did). Is this normal for this model of machine? Machine works great and doesn't throw any display codes. Just annoying and curious to what's causing this.
Reply:Perfectly normal.
