As a fabricator i make all kinds of metal parts. This is my biggest hobby which i hope to turn it into my retirement job. I build these welded steel train bridges to run Lionel sized trains around a room. A lawyer in my town ordered 3 of them but i could only install 1 before Christmas. Reply:WOW!!! great hobby. I checked your pictures out, and noticed that the first two were of something that looked like some sort of a camera hanging down from the track. Is that what it is, or am I way off base?.Also did you build the roller that you bend the track with?. Nice work.
Reply:Thats the antique ZW Lionel Transformer hanging down. He wanted everything hung up out of the way. The steel is tubing 3/8" sq which i had special made. And i modified a Tennsmith slip roll to roll the curves. I even added a motor/gearbox drive to make rolling the parts easier. Reply:Bob, we have a Milk store in town that has a train running round the ceiling too, the kids love it, people go there from all over to see the train (and to get a $1.00 milkshake).Regards to all.Working on cars and bikes is my hobby, learning to weld the pieces together is my quest.

Reply:Here are a few pics of my same 60:1 gearbox/motor on my shopoutfitters.com scroller.
