I was looking for something to do.  I ran a few beads of 5/32 6013 in DCEN and DCEP.  I setteled on 180 maps.  Plate was 3/8" X 6".  I wire brushed it, millscale and rust were there.DCEN, 160 amps, 180 amps, 190 amps and 180 amps.  Ranger 250 set on "downhill pipe" Arc force (slope?) in the middle.Slag came off in one piece.  DCENDCEP I could see better penetration.  Slag had to be chipped off.   More spatter.A little closer.DCEPI have 1/8" 7014 for tomorrow.David with too much time on my hands.Real world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
