Reply:Thats correct, I dont know to much about electronics. All the switches are in the correct position. I also checked the amp control switch and it seems like it is ok. All three relays are broken off and hanging there. Is there away to test relays? thanks
Reply:If components are hanging loose, I'd want someone who understands circuitry to check all the wiring. I understand basics but not detailed IC's. Member duaneb55 is the resident expert on Miller equipment; perhaps a PM to him could make him aware of this thread and he could give some better advice. To answer your direct question, yes, individual relays can be tested. You need to know their specifications either from data on them, by looking up their numbers, or by knowing what is used in that position. It does, of course, require some basic test gear and knowledge of its use.
Reply:I had the meter set on DC, I just checked it on AC and I do have 24 volts. I cant scatch start tig. Im thinking it must be in the tig gun cable, Any way of testing it? Thanks
