My trailer build

so i couldnt find my other post. 27 foot triple axle american boat trailer,two axels have surge brakes, i bought it for 120 and 200$ in piaa off road lights. my plans are to make it in to a dual axel 20 flat bed/car hauler. then taking the extra axel and making a 12 foot atv trailer. heres a couple pics of the trailer and a couple of my new shop ive already started workin on the trailer ill get some more pics up tommorrow for u guys.lincoln weld pac 100Hobart handler 120Lincoln  "BuZZ box"Lincoln Precision Tig 225

Reply:yea im gonna use the old boat trailer frame. its a good soild start. its all made out of  5, 4 and 3 inch c channel, i was gonna build a whole new frame outta 6 inch channel but decieced that im just gonna recycle this one and save the c channel for something else. the trailer is 27 feet long from tounge to end and about 70 and 1/2 inches wide.lincoln weld pac 100Hobart handler 120Lincoln  "BuZZ box"Lincoln Precision Tig 225

Reply:Looks in pretty good shape as far as rust and so-on. Clean in the world of used trailer frames. The price sorta made it 'unpassable' even without a project in mind.
Reply:anyone ever see their axels mounted to a piece of angle then have about 2 feet in weld holding them to the frame. and some nasty looking welds at that. im cuttin the angle off and welding the leaf hangers to the trailer itself. anyone have a guess on the load rating for these axels . i plan on cutting and bending out the front of the trailer and mounting the tounge back onlincoln weld pac 100Hobart handler 120Lincoln  "BuZZ box"Lincoln Precision Tig 225

Reply:Work is steady but slow.I cut all the old angle that the axels where welded to. ive gotten 3 out of 6 hangers on so far. Reply:Hopefully ill be done building the main frame by next weekend and start bulding the fenders. I used 6 inch c channel for the bumper cause im going to have 6 foot ramps pull out of the bumper. ive got flush mount tail lights that are leds that r pretty cool for it also marker lights that go on the side. the tounge is 7 feet long which is my biggest concern right now. whats ur guys input on the lenght. i plan on having a storage box and a romovable winch.
