I was wondering what the ground is on a 1962 sa 200 frame positive or negative?
Reply:All of my SA-200s 48, 54, 64, 66, 74, have the negative side of the battery running to the governor / magneto housing, with a ground strap running to the frame. Reply:If the machine is still running a generator instead of an alternator, chances are the positive is your ground. Go to Lincoln's website and request the Operators Manual using your code number or serial number.
