Reply:Beautifull tube work, do you do your own design. I would love to build a link, and air spring setup for my Ford F350, I have a 97 Diesel and conversions are limited and quite expensive. Are there any good sources of info and tips for design and build. Also are the links something that will have decent longevity on a daily driver?"Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum"Lincoln Idealarc 250 AC/DCMillermatic 251   Syncrowave 300   30A spoolgunLincoln MP210Hypertherm 45(2) LN 25(2) Lincoln Weldanpower 225 CV(4) SA200   1 short hood    SA250    SAM 400

Reply:Brooks, In-feakin-credible project. We are all wannabe's compared to this first class effort. My son and I will be happy just to get his All Pro Offroad undercarriage kit installed on his '80 TOY straight axle - SQUARE!Few questions for you, you can answer by number for ease, if you choose:1. how are you bending your tubing?2. wall thickness on both (tube/plate) - (this is a street only ride-correct?)3. mild steel or 4130 tubing/plate?4. heliarc (looks obvious to me)?5. brand of notcher or R U fishmouthing on a mill?Totally inspirational. Got me so fired up I'm gonna start back on the All pro conv (also, it is finally Tee shirt weather up here in Reno).Hat's off 2 U!Stew
Reply:looks awesome.little off topic, but do i see a banshee in there?
Reply:I'm not into low riders but you've done an excellent job on this.  The suspension parts look great!  I like the detail on the rear upper wishbone.  That rear axle is pretty easy to convert to disk brakes as well.Keep up the good work.

Reply:Beautiful welds, but lot's of folks can do beautiful welds (I ain't one of 'em)What's really cool is the ability to weld, and get the front end geometry right.  THAT'S NEAT.  To be able to establish, layout, jig/fixture the angles, and hold them, is absolutely way out of my league.NICE STUFFI wish I was up to this sort of work"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:VERY impressive, awesome work.  I really like the clean sculptured lines of your work - there's not a single thing I can see that I don't like on either truck or Banshee.  Functional, yet artistic ... that's the mark of a true craftsman. You're going to have a very unique ride when you're finally finished.  That's something to be proud of, right there. On your truck, what transmission are you running, auto or stick?  If stick, building a custom shifter would be pretty trick, too, and fairly easy for someone of your skills.  I've seen pictures of people who have used swords, daggers, pool cues, brass knuckles, pogo sticks, even pump shotgun stocks and real six-shooter pistols to make radical shifters.  I believe one of "Big Daddy" Ed Roth's creations used a Civil War calvery saber for a custom shifter.
Reply:Very cool banshee!I run a suspension company and we do alot of work on racing atvs. That is without a doubt one of the coolest designs. I could probably get you customers who would want that swingarm (for all I know you re probably backed up with orders!).  With the longer swingarm you'll need different valving and a stiffer shock spring. I like the LTR450 shocks on the front end! That is the best set of OEM front shocks on the japanese products. We checked the stock LTR springs on our computerized spring dyno and they are just about equal to the Elka triple rate set up for a 180# rider. The stock valving is a good bit on the stiff side and they have too much rebound damping, but they can be set up for any type of riding/racing. I was surfing looking for some good advise on welding bandsaw blades and I end up here!!!Take Care,John
Reply:I've just been looking over the photos again....cant get over how amazing your work is.The Twisted Minis Hilux was amazing...but this leaves that for dead. This is awe-inspiring.
Reply:The comment you guy's have left me, Is what makes me  push myself every time i build something....Everyone has the capability to as good as work as the next guy you just have to apply your self, you get what you put into it.
