Non welding projects / ideas

I would like for people to post any non welding projects or ideas. Can be anything that someone thought up or uses to make work easier. For example, I use a 55gal drum with the head removed to store chains and binders. The hooks slip over the rim and if you take your chains out starting with the last one you put in, they come out without tangling. Actually I am going to use a second drum and separate them because I have so many. Also I burn four triangle holes around the top so if I need to move the whole thing I can put a piece of heavy rebar thru and lift it with a machine and a sling. I use drums to store alot of things. Also punch some holes in bottom for drainage and put a lid on top if contents shouldn't get wet.(oops, accidently erased pics on transfer, will post them tomarrow, sorry)"Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! Reply:Here are a set of ramps I made out of plastic railroad ties. Dimentions are approx - 22" wide, 9" high, 11' long and 1000lbs each. I built them with the idea of being able to load out wrecking debris easier with a bobcat. Now you can smash it down better than without. But also I use them for working under a vehicle or equipment. Reply:Here are a smaller set for just making it easier to change the oil or something on a car or even semi. In the second pic background is a set of pads i use to put under the rear tires if I need to raise the whole car. Reply:Stickman, I have a drum with various 3/32nd holes drilled in it, with the top beat in to a concave shape that weuse to build automatic transmissions on and to drain oil soaked parts. There are 3/8 holes around theedges to hang the transmissions from for assembly. (Note: drum needs to be at least half full to hanga transmission from the side.)Aeromax Service Truck w/ 6,000lb Crane to carry my toys.Miller Trailblazer 302'69 Lincoln SA-200A couple of Victor Jr's to make big pieces smaller..........
