Reply:Yes it did turn out nice. Any particular reason for using 5/16" nuts instead of 3/8"? Surely you own more than one 9/16" wrench.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
Reply:they are past the threads, originally I was planning to put them in the center of the non threaded area but they ended up where they are now. I suppose your right it could have been 3/8 nuts as well, now it's time to hook up the master and see if it throws far enough, if not it will be back to the drawing board, my boss (his jeep) is kinda funny when it comes to building stuff, they make several kits to do this, but the jeep had an old Chevy brake and clutch master cylinder combo on it so he wanted to put the slave that originally worked with that particular master, if it was me I would have scraped all of that stuff and put oem or an aftermarket setup (master and slave) that is suppose to be on a cj5, the rebuild kit for the master was like 70 bucks, and the slave was another 60, I think for a 130 bucks you could buy all of the RIGHT stuff NEW. the pedal assembly is hokey too but he wants to keep it that way, at my work we put truth to the meaning step over a dollar to pick up a nickel"Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal" -Henry Ford
