Where does one or HOW does one restore the silkscreen lettering on the face panels?I'm working on a Miller CP200 with a S-52e feeder. Both are early 1981 serial numbers with white faces.Problem is, the welder and feeder panels no longer show any letters or numbers.I was thinking a vinyl sticker, but can't find any GOOD & CLEAR pictures of the feeder or welder panel faces to reproduce them as a sticker.Any help would greatly be appreciated. Id like to add this old gal to my fleet. Also, I'm looking for miller p/n 022248. Its the orange indicator band that displays voltage on the panel face.
Reply:Steve ( 7A749 here) did several good posts on restoring faces on machines he was rebuilding that might help you out with ideas. I haven't seen him on recently unfortunately.http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=47574http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=37179I didn't go thru the whole list of his posts with "face" as the search, these were just the 1st two that popped out in my memory..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:If all else fails takes a picture of the current faceplate or someone else's faceplate. Many sign or silk printing shops have the capability to duplicate the faceplate off of a photo.Co-Own CNC shop:Miller :1251 plasma cutter, MaxStar 700 TIG/Stick, & XMT 456 Multiprocess Welder.&  2 Hypertherm HPR260's Plasma CutterSorry I had a bad stroke but now I am back.

Reply:Your better off going with screen print (silkscreen) rather than vinyl stick on graphics. They will last 10 times longer. Any nameplate shop should be able to make a duplicate from your sample if you can find a photo to match for the graphics.good luck.
